Communication has always been a weak spot of mine. Even from childhood, I'd never been a great explainer, whether in speech or text.
Here are some lessons and tips for myself to get better at delivering information.
Presentations
- "Mock-present" presentations sooner. You will catch flow errors.
- More diagrams, less text. Always ask yourself: is there a way to swap text for diagrams?
Writing
- Use examples! Start with excellent examples and build from there.
